I was hoping to start these Asheville Restaurant Reviews with an outstanding epicurean experience. That was not to happen.
A. Service-- 1/2 star---nonexistent, people waiting at the door and being ignored.
B. Atmosphere-- 1/2 star--would be appropriate for a low class bar in central Mexico.
C. Food Quality--0 star--terrible to horrible to inedible.
I challenge you to find a worse restaurant in downtown Asheville, NC. I have no idea where their reputation as a fine dining experience comes from but I suspect Vincenzo has not received any honors or awards since the ones noted in 2002. This should have been a clue.
There is no reason to continue this as a review. Just don't go there to eat rotten olives or anything they identify as Veal or meat. Go there only if you want to have a few drinks and listen to badly played piano bar hillbilly music.
